Day 1 Nairobi to Masi Mara

Note: Part 1 covers Masai Mara and Nakuru which is a group joining safari and part 2 covers Amboseli and is a private safari.

At 8 o’clock depart for Masai Mara via the Great Rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be picnic en route. In the afternoon after you check in embark on a Kenya safari in the Masai Mara. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

The Masai Mara is Kenya’s flagship reserve and is home to numerous game and bird species. The great wildebeest migration takes place in the reserve between July and October. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Masai people of Kenya.

Day 2 Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

Full day exploring the Masai Mara and have picnic lunch in the game reserve at the banks of the Mara River. Optional activities include a visit to Masai village; overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request, Hot-air balloon safari at dawn. Balloon safaris cost about $450 US.

Day 3 Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After an early morning Kenya safari in the Masai Mara, depart for Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya’s 23 National Parks and one of three in the Premium category, along with Amboseli National Park. The ecosystem is comprised of the lake, surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity including Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds, and the Black and White Rhinoceros which are the major attractions of the park.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After early breakfast and a 3 hours Kenya safari in Lake Nakuru, depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at hotel Taphe. After lunch, go to hell’s gate for biking safari, if you are too tired you will be driven in the park. Later go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Hell’s Gate is named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries, the Hell’s Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, gorges, stark rock towers, obsidian caves and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. The park also protects a wide variety of wildlife, including leopards, eland, ostrich, gazelle and more than 100 species of birds.

Day 5 Naivasha to Amboseli

This is a private safari as no groups go to Amboseli National park.

Pick up from the hotel in the morning drive to Amboseli famous for its scenery with a backdrop of Africa’s highest snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arrive with more game drive and proceeding to your lodge, Check in at AA Lodge Ambsoeli and have lunch and a short rest. After lunch embark on a Kenya safari tour in Amboseli.

Day 6 Full Day Amboseli National Park

Together with offering spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is host to diverse habitats – savannah, swamps, woodlands and sulphur springs, numerous wildlife and birdlife. It’s also one of the best places on the continent to see free ranging elephants up close.

On this day early morning game drive later return back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch. Wild animals that can be seen in Amboseli include lions, spotted hyenas, African wild dogs, jackals and eland.

Day 7 Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

After an early morning Kenya safari in Amboseli return to your lodge for Breakfast. Check out with a short game drive en route and drive to Nairobi, drop off to your hotel or the airport for your flight.
