This 6 days Kenya luxury safari is a one of a kind. It takes you to northern Kenya to encounter wildlife species unique to this part of the country. You get to see beautiful sceneries including the Great Rift Valley and the snow-capped peaks of Kenya’s highest mountain, Mount Kenya. And get to learn the Samburu and Masai culture because it is similar yet very different.

Destinations: Nairobi, Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve.

Nairobi – Day 1

Depart from Nairobi for Samburu National Reserve. Arriving at the Samburu Game Lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing then embark on an a Kenya safari at 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Return to the game lodge and freshen up for dinner and overnight.

Samburu National Reserve – Day 2

After breakfast, 8.00 a.m. leave for a full morning Kenya safari in Samburu National Reserve. Together with Samburu being the home of the Samburu people of Kenya who you’ll get to experience by visiting a local community, Samburu is also home to the samburu Special Five. These animals are only found in this part of Kenya and include the beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, and gerenuk, a long-necked antelope that feeds while standing on its hind feet.

Return to the lodge for lunch followed by swimming games and relaxation. At 4 p.m. we leave for a Kenya safari till sunset then return to the game lodge to freshen up for dinner and overnight.

Samburu National Reserve – Day 3

After breakfast depart with a Kenya safari en route for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Simba Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon embark on a Kenya safari in the park. Scenic Lake Nakuru is one of the Great Rift Valley lakes and home to flamingo (Greater and Lesser), pelicans and terrestrial birds numbering more than 450 species.

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the few places on the continent that supports a large population of endangered white rhino. Other wildlife that can be seen include African buffalos, lion, leopard, waterbuck, baboons and Rothschild’s giraffe.

Lake Nakuru – Day 4

After breakfast you will depart for Masai Mara. You will arrive in the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch at Sekenani Luxury Camp, which will be followed by an afternoon Kenya safari till evening. The Masai Mara National Reserve is home to all the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephants and rhino together with other animals. More than 550 species of birds have been recorded in this top African safari destination. Between July and October visitors can witness the great wildebeest migration as over 2 million wildebeest, zebra and topi migrate across the reserve in search of pasture and water.

Masai Mara National Reserve – Day 5

After breakfast, you will depart with packed picnic lunch for a full day Kenya safari. A balloon safari is available on this day. This can be booked separately and costs US$450. It’s an awesome experience as you fly over the Masai Mara at dawn with amazing views of the sunrise and the teeming herd below. After a full day of a memorable African safari in the Masai Mara, in the evening you’ll be transferred back to Sekenani Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.

Nairobi – Day 6

After breakfast depart for Nairobi with a morning Kenya safari as you leave the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive late afternoon and get transferred back to your hotel or to the Airport.
