Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking
Adventurous river rapids in Tana River have made Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking popular tourist attractions in Kenya. The river is the longest in the country and rises in Mount Kenya and the Aberdare mountain range in central Kenya and stretches 800 kilometers before entering the Indian Ocean. Birding is also excellent while rafting through the valley.

Sports should be in everyone’s list of things to do in Kenya, as there are numerous sports available ex., golfing, cycling, swimming, skydiving, bungee jumping, ice-skating, volleyball, tennis etc.
Shopping
There are markets and unique wares all over the country. Popular items include traditional crafts, woodcarvings, Masai beaded necklaces, kiondos – woven handbags made from sisal with leather trimmings, kikois, jewelry, and Kenya’s exceptional coffee.
